MARCH 2021: Andy Shauf, Vinyl Banners, 60/40, Music in Movies, and more…

March Madness - This is going to be a milestone month for me - personally and professionally. Let me start with personally - on March 27, I’ll be turning 40! I feel like 30, I look like 20, and I act like 10… very hard to believe. My Mom says she’s the one who is really feeling old!!

In business news - my Faygo dreams are finally coming true… well, kind of. The crew at Faygo hasn’t sent me that cooler yet, but I I found a used cooler for sale over in Saginaw. Steve and I made the trip and picked it up last week - it’s in Grand Rapids and gets really cold! At the time of this email, I’m still giving the fridge some TLC, and stocking it up… also bleaching and scrubbing, re-wiring the lights, and replacing the thermostat. But in the next week or so, it’ll be 100. I’ll keep you posted.

This month, I’m featuring one of Faygo’s less-popular flavors - 60/40. They say it’s “Grapefruit/Lime/Citrus,” but if you need a more clear picture painted, it’s like Squirt.

If you put an order in and want to get splashed with citrus, just let me know and I’ll have a cold one waiting for you when you come to pick up your job!!

Trivia Tuesday!

Congrats to January’s winners - MY BEST FRIEND’S WEDDING (WILL HAPPEN EVENTUALLY). We cracked the code on romantic comedies, and mostly just talked about Paul Rudd… I actually like Judd Apatow movies, I guess.

March’s trivia is Music in Movies - featuring questions about our favorite movie soundtracks. The Bodyguard, Im’ma let you finish, but Garden State has the best soundtrack of all time! Get your team together, come up with a funny name, and sign up in advance - only 10 teams can play!

This month’s playlist is packed full of great “Music to Print to,” from Andy Shauf, Barenaked Ladies, Mogwai, Valentiger, Bolt Thrower, and more. Andy’s album Neon Skyline was my favorite album last year - he’s an amazing songwriter, and he makes me think Canada is cooler than I already do.
