MAY 2021: Jenny Lewis, ‘90s Pop Culture, Dr. Faygo, Mugs, Friends, and more…
It’s gonna be May!! …I mean, I guess it is May already! This year is flying by - I hope you’re taking your time, enjoying life, and making the best of everything. Soon enough we’ll be able to relax a little more (RE: the pandemic), and the stay-at-home, zoom-only life that we’ve become so familiar with, will just be a faded memory in our rearview.
I’ve got a couple BIG (sort of) plans for the month - EVENTS!! Not quite back to ‘normal,’ but I’m hoping these will be a nice transition into bigger, better things very soon. For this first round of happenings, I’m going to play it safe; a few friends, a hand-picked audience… maybe just like a dozen, real-life humans!! Then I’ll be streaming the action online for everyone in the world to see. Next time, I hope to go a little larger, and then larger still, and then… who knows!? Let’s take it one step at a time.

Yeah, the name is clearly a rip off of Dr. Pepper, sure - but I’m a sucker for good rip-offs! Plus, come on - a soda company can’t corner the market on designating a profession to one of their flavors. You know that Dr. Pepper didn’t go to medical school, right?!
If you put an order in and want to get an ice cold can of just what the doctor ordered (or any other Faygo flavor that I’ve got in the fridge), just let me know and I’ll have a cold one waiting for you when you come to pick up your job!!
Trivia Tuesday!
Congrats to April’s trivia winners - The Tea Party for Tonight. A true underdog story, they went into the final question in last place! After being the only team to answer the question correctly - they inched into the lead. You love to see it, folks.
This month’s trivia is 90’s Pop Culture - featuring questions about all things from 1990 to 1999… Saved by the Bell, Tamagotchi, Gak, Blockbuster Video, Hi-C, Lisa Frank, Mrs. Doubtfire, and more. We’ll be digging deep - so, dig out your old journals, flip on some Must See TV re-runs, and get ready to rumble! I know a lot of people are going to be excited about this, so sign up now! Get your team together, come up with a funny name, and sign up in advance - only 10 teams can play!
Last month we had a couple of no-shows. Don’t do me like that! If you’re not able to make it, please let me know before the game, OR don’t sign up unless you’re sure you can play. I only let 10 teams play each game, so I want to make sure that everyone who wants to play, can.

I don’t want to give away too much info… mostly because I don’t quite have everything dialed in yet! But - there will be LIVE music. My pal Steve (pizza-lover, and recent birthday-haver) will be playing a (probably) mostly acoustic set, live from the shop. We’ll have a small audience, and I’ll also be streaming it out for the masses. Let’s ease back into this - but, put everything we’ve got into it!
I’m also going to have some friends in for a little drawing party later in the month! I’m excited.
